Samsung C&T – Roy Hill Project

Samsung approached CERT to assist in creating a suite of training materials to ensure Employees and Contractors were aware of their safeworking requirements within the rail corridor. These materials were to be delivered to workers on the Pilbara Roy Hill project which involved the construction of a standard gauge railway from the mine site to Port Hedland (more than 340kms).

CERT developed a package of learning resources and assessments that aligned to the relevant rule book. The materials were also contextualised to appropriate levels to suit the varying safeworking roles on site.

From 2014 to 2016 CERT delivered training to more than 3500 Employees and Contractors on the project. CERT was able to mobilise Trainers and equipment to the Pilbara to meet the strong project deadlines.
